Mike Honcho grew up traveling with his nomadic parents up and down the eastern coast of the United States. While the faces and towns always changed, one thing remained constant; Honcho's passion for adult film. He consumed any and all forms of cinema he could get his hands on, even sneaking into theaters when he and his family had nothing but the clothes on their backs and lint in their pockets.

As an adult, Honcho aspired to harness his passion and refine it into a profession he could be proud of. While he floated from job to job, doing everything mopping up after shoots and even taking a crack at his own adult cinema that unfortunately never saw the light of day, but ultimately set his sights on criticism. With the help of his trusty producer, Richard Perry, Honcho hopes Watching it for the Plot can become the new Siskel &Ebert and maybe even inspire future generations, just as he had once been himself.
